In your reflection, address the following topics in 400-600 words (total):
Wobbrock et al.'s paper mentions Universal Design, and how it only suits "door handles, knives, and building entrances." In addition, Molly Follette Story mentions many examples in their paper that relate to physical design (e.g. dressers, medicine bottles, etc.). Do you agree or disagree with the sentiment that Universal Design cannot apply to technology?
If you agree, then state why you feel that technology cannot be created from Universal Design.
If you disagree, then give an example of a technology that has a Universal Design. If you cannot find one, give an example of a new technology idea that would have Universal Design.
Wobbrock et al.'s paper has seven guidelines and demonstrates how several research projects have informed these guidelines. One that has not been covered as much in the article is context. However, we are storing and collecting larger amounts of data. What are some ways for us to detect someone's ability with the large amounts of data?
Please remember to include 3-5 discussion questions.
