In your reflection, address the following topics in 400-600 words (total, word count not including the questions you write for class):
In our assistive technology designs, what measures can we take to avoid falling in the trap of "meaning good, but realizing unintended consequences?"
How would you plan your proposed project for class if it used the research agenda motivated by the Critical Realist perspective? For this thinking exercise, you can assume that the project scope would be past the end of the semester. More specifically:
How does your proposed research affect the individual? affect society?
What sort of methods will you employ? Studies of performance and studies of social implications? Working with multiple stakeholders?
How would you achieve knowledge in your project "horizontally" and "vertically" (in Frauenberger top right corner of page 5).
Please remember to write 3-5 discussion questions for class.
Can't change a rubric once you've started using it.
